REGISTRATIONS NOW BEING ACCEPTED FOR 2018 ASSESSMENT WORKSHOP

DEADLINE, FEBRUARY 1, 2018.

 

The ACJS Assessment Committee and Peregrine Academics are proud to announce the Third Annual Assessment Workshop to be held at the New Orleans Annual Meeting on Wednesday, February 14 from 1:30-5:30.

This year’s workshop will focus on Overcoming Academic Assessment Challenges with Workable Solutions, with a focus on providing insight and best practices on how to address common challenges in academic assessment. Topics of special interest may include, but are not limited to; resistance and buy-in, funding, implementation, getting usable data/sufficient evidence, translating findings to plans for future action. Time will be available to share best practices and ideas with your fellow attendees.

A tentative agenda is listed below. Additional presenters are in the process of being added.

 

Food will be available thanks to the generosity of our sponsor, Peregrine Academics.

Registration is free, but space is limited in order to provide a chance for meaningful interaction among the workshop participants.

3:45 – 4:45     Breakout Sessions – Participants will have a chance to join different breakout tables with our presenters to focus on issues of particular interest to them. This will be the chance for folks to exchange experiences with creating assessment.
